relocatejersey.je is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We handle it under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018.
What we collect
Only what you send us. The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, an optional telephone number and whatever you choose to write in the message. We do not require anything else to reply to you.
If you go on to engage us, we will collect considerably more — the evidence a relocation requires — and we will tell you what and why at that point, in an engagement letter rather than in a website notice.
Why we hold it
To reply to your enquiry and, if you engage us, to carry out the work. That is the whole purpose. We do not profile enquirers, and we do not use your data to decide what to show you.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data, ever.
- We do not add enquirers to a marketing list.
- We do not pass your details to estate agents, advocates, tax advisers, removals firms, banks or anyone else without asking you first and telling you who.
Who processes it
Enquiries submitted through this site are transmitted to and stored by our forms provider on our behalf, under a processing arrangement. Email we receive is held by our email provider. Both are bound to process the data only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted after twelve months. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep them and no longer.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and runs no third-party analytics that identify you. The only third-party request the page makes is to a font provider.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to our holding it. Write tohello@relocatejersey.je and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner.
