1. Definitions

"Relocate Jersey" and "we" refer to Relocate Jersey, the trading entity that operates this website and provides the services described herein. "Client" refers to any individual or company that engages Relocate Jersey to provide services. "Services" means the administrative support, document coordination, and logistical services described on this website.

2. Nature of Services

Relocate Jersey provides administrative support, document architecture, and logistical coordination only. We are not regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission. We do not provide legal advice, tax advice, financial advice, or any service that falls within the regulatory perimeter of the JFSC.

All applications prepared by Relocate Jersey are submitted to government bodies via the client's appointed regulated legal counsel. The client is responsible for appointing appropriately regulated legal and professional advisers.

3. Engagement and Fees

Services are engaged on the basis of a written proposal accepted by the client. The proposal sets out the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and fee structure. No additional work outside the agreed scope will be undertaken without a written variation agreed in advance.

Fee structures for HVR and corporate licensing services include an upfront retainer and a success fee that triggers on official government approval. For staff relocation and other services, fees are agreed on a fixed or time-based basis as set out in the client proposal.

4. Confidentiality

All client information shared with Relocate Jersey is treated as strictly confidential. We do not share client information with third parties without explicit client consent, except where required by law. We operate a zero-local-storage data policy for financial documents — all financial evidence provided by clients is reviewed via encrypted connection and is never downloaded, saved, or retained on our systems.

5. Limitation of Liability

Relocate Jersey is not responsible for decisions made by government bodies in respect of any application. We make no guarantee of approval for any HVR, business owner, business licensing, or Licensed employee application. Our success fee structure is designed to align our incentives with the client's but does not constitute a guarantee of outcome.

Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific services in relation to which a claim arises. We are not liable for consequential losses, loss of opportunity, or losses arising from delays in government processing.

6. Intellectual Property

All documents, templates, and materials produced by Relocate Jersey for client use remain our intellectual property until payment of the relevant fees is completed. Upon completion of payment, the client receives a non-exclusive licence to use the materials for the purpose for which they were created.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of Jersey. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jersey.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. The current version will always be published on this website. Continued use of our services following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
