Individual Pathway

High Value Residency in Jersey

Jersey's 2(1)(e) designation is one of the most prestigious — and most document-intensive — residency pathways in any jurisdiction. We build the complete administrative architecture that gives your application the institutional quality the government expects.

Who Qualifies for HVR Status?

Income

£1.25m+

Sustainable annual income from passive or investment sources, demonstrable over a minimum of three years.

Tax Contribution

£250,000

Minimum annual tax contribution to the States of Jersey. Calculated at 20% on the first £725,000 of Jersey-sourced income.

Property

£3.5m+

Minimum property purchase threshold for a house. Apartments have a lower threshold of £1.75m. Open market properties only.

Important: Eligibility is assessed holistically by Locate Jersey and the Population Office. Meeting the financial thresholds is necessary but not sufficient. The government also considers the quality of your economic and social benefit case, your ties to the island, and whether your presence is deemed to be in Jersey's best interest.

What We Build for Your Application

Jersey's government is highly experienced at identifying poorly prepared submissions. Our dossiers are built to an institutional standard that reflects the seriousness with which you are approaching residency.

KYC Documentation Portfolio

A fully organised, tabbed personal background portfolio including identification, source of wealth narrative, asset schedules, and professional references — structured exactly as the Population Office expects.

Economic and Social Benefit Statement

The central document in any HVR application. We draft a compelling, evidence-backed narrative of the economic benefit your residency will bring to Jersey, tailored to your specific circumstances.

Financial Evidence Package

A secure, structured presentation of your income and asset evidence. All documents reviewed via encrypted connection only — never downloaded or retained on our infrastructure.

Property Commitment Documentation

Coordination of your property purchase or lease evidence, working alongside your Jersey solicitor and estate agent to ensure the documentation meets government requirements.

Professional Reference Coordination

We brief and coordinate your professional referees so their letters address the specific points the Population Office looks for in an HVR application.

Legal Submission Package

A complete, indexed submission file handed to your appointed elite Jersey law firm, ready to file without additional preparation.

The HVR Application Process

  1. 01

    Confidential Consultation

We review your financial profile, property intentions, and timeline. We identify every document required and map the complete application structure.

  2. 02

    Document Instruction

You receive a precise list of documents to provide, with guidance on format and what each item is used for. We handle the chasing and organisation.

  3. 03

    Dossier Construction

We draft your Economic and Social Benefit Statement, build the KYC portfolio, and produce the complete application file. Everything is reviewed by regulated legal and tax partners before delivery.

  4. 04

    Legal Handover

The completed dossier is handed to your appointed Jersey law firm, who formally file the application with the Population Office.

  5. 05

    Approval and Settlement

On official government approval, our success fee triggers. We remain available to coordinate your settlement arrangements and introductions across the island.

Fee Structure

Our HVR service combines an upfront retainer for document preparation with a success fee that triggers only on official Population Office approval. If your application is not approved, you do not pay the success fee.

This structure ensures our incentives are fully aligned with yours. We only benefit materially when you receive approval.

No pricing is published on this website. Fee proposals are provided in writing following an initial consultation. There are no hidden charges.
